ABSTRACT
La angina de Ludwig es una enfermedad de causa infecciosa que afecta fundamentalmente al suelo de la boca. Se produce esencialmente por abscesos de segundo y tercer molar; tiene un comienzo insidioso, por lo que se debe pensar en ella, ya que de retrasarse el diagnóstico puede tener consecuencia fatales Las complicaciones más graves son la obstrucción de la vía aérea superior, edema de la glotis y mediastinitis descendente. Su tratamiento se basa en tres pilares esenciales, dados por medidas generales, tratamiento antibiótico y quirúrgico.
Ludwig’s angina is an infection-caused disease mainly affecting the floor of the mouth. It is essentially produced by second and third molar abscesses; it has an insidious beginning, so it has to be always taken into account because if it is diagnosed late, it may have fatal consequences. The most serious complications are the obstruction of the high air ways, glottis edema and descendant mediastinitis. The treatment is based in three essential supports, given by general measures, antibiotic and surgical treatment.
ABSTRACT
Se evaluó la gestión ambiental en 17 agroecosistemas con probables riesgos a la salud, por presencia de contaminación por metales pesados, mediante la selección de variables y el apoyo de herramientas del análisis cualitativo. El desarrollo del diagnóstico ambiental permitió determinar los principales problemas en las áreas de estudio. Se concluyó que la gestión que se realiza en estos agroecosistemas es ineficiente, se evidenció el deterioro de los recursos naturales insertos en la dinámica productiva, así como la incidencia de enfermedades transmisibles y no transmisibles que mantienen una estrecha relación con problemas ambientales. Se realizó la propuesta de acciones encaminadas a mitigar los principales problemas determinados en el área de estudio.
The environmental management was assessed in 17 agroecosystems with probable health risks due to the presence of heavy metal pollution, by selecting variables and supporting on the qualitative analysis tool support. The development of the environmental analysis allowed determining the main problems in the studied areas. It was concluded that the management performed in these agroecosystems is inefficient. There it was evident the deterioration of the natural resources inserted in the productive dynamic, and also the incidence of the transmissible and non-transmissible diseases keeping a close relationship with environmental problems. We made the proposal of measures to mitigate the main problems identified in the studied area.
